Honda Sensing Warning Lights in Lake County Winters

Honda Sensing generates frequent winter-related warning calls in Lake County. Honda Sensing driver-assistance features are designed to assist the driver and do not replace attentive driving. The forward-facing millimeter-wave radar (located in the front grille, bumper, or emblem area depending on model) and the windshield-mounted camera both require clear sightlines to function. Snow buildup on I-94 or Route 176 can block the radar quickly. A frosted windshield in the camera zone will disable LKAS and CMBS before you leave the driveway.
